Yeah. Actually lugging (to a certain extent) isnt bad. It helps warmup,
keeping the hot gases in the chamber a little longer. High revs when the
engine is cold is a no no. It will taper the cylinders (combustion is up
top in the cylinder, so the top part and the piston will get hot faster,
then on the downstroke the now heated and expanded piston will cause
excessive wear at the bottoms of the cylinders.) This will lead to
premature smoking. Ever seen the camaro's and mustangs smoke like a
diesel when they floor it? Thats probably why...
