Re: Rear view mirror controller
To: Steven.Buchholz
Hi, Steve,
I'll chime in... I have this feature on my '92 100CS, and its one of my
favorite toys. It is matrixed into the memory seats feature. I have 4
memory settings which take care of seats and mirrors. And yes, if the right
hand (passenger side) mirror control button is depressed (aren't we all at
some point?) and I put the car in reverse, the right side mirror will tilt
down to show you the curb or whatever's down there, and then return when I
take the car out of reverse or turn the ignition off. Weeeeee, its fun!

Subject: Rear view mirror controller
I was looking through the V8 service manual and fiche and noticed that
the
'92-on V8s had the memory rear view mirror function. I assume this was
connected to the memory seats. Does anyone happen to have a car with the
memory mirrors? If so, do you know if it aims the mirrors down when the
car
is put into reverse as well? I figure this module is on the newer V8s
and
the A8 as well, are there any other models that have this as well?
TIA!
