I actually think Porsche should roll into the VW/Audi group...or have just
Audi own it as Lamborgini is owned by Audi and not VW (but then VW owns
Audi!). Since they are a pretty small carmaker, and one of the last of the
independents, Piech should go ahead and buy granpa's company to protect it
from being bought by someone like GM or Hyundai. BUT, I dont think Porsche
should have to share platforms or such. They could share parts that aren't
noticeable, like window switches, alternators, power steering pumps, ABS
components, and such. Porsche already uses the Audi climate control on the
996 & Boxster. Oh yea, and the Audi S cars would use the Porsche brakes!
