A light bulb will work (12 volt of course - spare parking light or
interior light). Hook it up between batt neg and ground wire and watch
it while removing fuses one at a time. You can put the light wherever
it is convenient to observe.
if the light dims when you remove a fuse, chase that circuit down for
your short or leakage. If it stays bright it must be an unfused portion
of some circuit and you may have to pull wires of the back of the fuse
box to track it down.
