Ok, who was it?

Last night in Walpole, MA, crossing Rt 1A, a guy in a '95 - '98 A6 Avant
(possibly dark green) waved to me as I passed him. I waved back, don't get
me wrong, but it caught me by surprise. Usually, I'm the guy who waves and
invariably get a crazed look in return. This is the first time that another
Audi owner waved FIRST!

So, who was it? Its got to be one of us?

On a related note, the owner of the pearl white 100 Avant at Walpole train
station every morning. You here? The model info has been removed from the
rear, but... 1) there's an A6 passenger side mirror, 2) the headlights are
from a 100, and 3) the lack of lower foglights leads me to believe its an
"S". I'm guessing a '92 - '94 100S FWD Avant with a replacement mirror.
