Actually, I believe I read in Autoweek years ago that the 500E was actually
built at the Porsche plant. Bigger brakes, wheels, and engine tweaking at
Porsche. Put a manual trans in one and sign me up! Oh wait...that's right,
another German super-sedan with automatic only!!!
