RE: E30 BMW M3 v. URQ
Having owned and raced an E30 M3 in Group N spec. I think the M3 is
still one of the best handling and idiot proof rwd cars out there.
Sure a 911 might be better in certain areas but requires much more
advanced driving skills. My experience with urq's is limited to the
early 83 models which are no real match for the M3. Like Dave said
the 20v-urq is a different story altogether. My suggestion? For the
ultimate in fun try to get both. In Germany the prices for used E30
M3's are not decreasing anymore and I will defiantly try to get one.
The 20v-urq is almost impossible to get and the last one I saw was
offered for US$16.500 in comparison to an M3 which goes for US$9.000
and an S2 for US$12.000
