You could fit a 245/50-16 on an 8" rim. I have 245/50 tires on my
16x7.5" rims on the front of my wife's Thunderbird SuperCoupe. I don't
know if those tires would clear the fenders and suspension though.
I have heard that a 245/45-16 will fit an S4 though.
