mirror hex screw? (was arrgh! rearview mirror)

Not to flame anyone but that was my first thought, as i've btdt on some
other nonaudi cars.
No hex screw on this arm, it looks as if the button might snap into the
arm somehow. But I have a sneaking suspition that if I pry it out the
f****** thing either won't go back in or more likely is held in the arm
with some mystery adheasive available only to audi and NASA.
If anyone has a Bentley for late 100s/early A6s would you mind looking
(please, please) to see how this is assembled before I go and break the
thing for good. Thereby having to get a whole new assemblly from my
dealer.
