I'm another door ding freak.  I hate them and go to great lengths to
avoid them by parking as far away from everybody as possible.  I'm not
proud to admit it, but I've actually gotten so pissed that I've
delivered a size 13 to the door of offending door dingers.  I probably
should also have left notes so that the idiots would realize why it is
that they now have a foot imprint in their door.  Oh well, I'll try to
remain calm....
