95 Cabriolet power window control module?

	My wife's 95 Cabriolet has suddenly developed intermittent window
operation problems. I've checked the individual window switches, they're
fine. The dealer claims that the power window control module (P/N 8G 0959
257 A) is the problem, and wants ~$350 to make it right.

	Anyone BTDT? I don't have the Bentley for her car yet. I'm guessing that
this controller is what disables and/or overrides the window controls when
you're putting the top up or down- is it a relatively intelligent
controller or just a couple of relays that need cleaning via the patented
eraser method?
