... that is indeed bad, but let me tell you that getting pulled over on a
motorcycle for no apparent reason and then checking rear view mirrors after
stopping and seeing two officers crouched behind open doors and a service
revolver aimed at you from the driver's side and a sawed-off shotgun on the
passenger's side ... both aimed in a direction that pretty much guaranteed a
mortal wound ... is an experience I would rather have foregone ...

It was because someone had robbed a local bank and escaped on a blue
motorcycle ... but it still makes me wonder why the police here are trained
threaten [and use] deadly force so readily ... once you've shot and killed
somebody, apologies are pretty useless ...
