Re: vibration, and oil leak
I don't think the vibration is the heat shield. I think everyone gets
a little extra vibration under boost. Perhaps this indicates worn engine
mounts or an engine/transmission alignment problem?
Heat shield vibration is usually really, really noticable; my father's car
had a loose shield, and it had more to do with RPMs than boost...the noise
was a very high-pitched rasp.
