the ISV rear port that connects at the rear of the engine to a plastic
elbow that has a third hole in the elbow joint proper.  It's a crankcase
vent.  Be careful not to break this part (as I did), it's a pain to remove.

I broke mine too, but I am told it feeds air to an injector shroud plenum to
improve the injector spray pattern.  You can see a hint of this by examining
the intake manifold casting below the runners.
