RE: WTB: 90 CQ Fog light needed

Or driving lights for that matter...

I'd really like to get some long-range driving lights on my 90 to supplement
the DOT high beams (don't want to go the Euro route - new bumper facia and
all...). But short of sticking two unsightly lights on top of my bumper, I
don't know where you could fit said aux lights besides in the original fog
light location. Unfortunately, it's also foggy where I live quite often.

I'm actually toying with the idea of a detachable bracket with driving
lights attached and a wire harness plug. That way I could just mount the
driving lights when a road trip was imminent - rally style :) Hell, the
high beams are so bad, I'd consider just making a screw mount for 1 high
wattage driving light and screwing it into the built in tow-hook hole!!!
Wouldn't be pretty, but it'd be conveniently removable... Anyone else come
up with a solution? (other than rewiring the lights with 9007s etc. - I
don't think I have the electrical engineering prowess to rewire my existing
lighting - maybe it's not as tough as it sounds, but talk of "gutting
relays" to trick the autocheck system just don't sound good

I think it's high time that someone decided what size PIAA lights
fit down there - for the same price, you could have much
better fogs...
