If this the problem the part is a small plastic piece about a $2 or $3
Est. and about 1 hr labor at the most. It is real easy to fix if this is
the problem. There were members of the list that stated the same
symtoms but the problem was in the latch itself. If you take the inner
door cover off, look inside upper left. The lock/unlock rod from the
door latch to the key cylinder lever will be off. It is bent 90 degrees
at the top about 1/2 inch where it goes in the lock/unlock cylinder
lever hole. The little plastic piece fits over the cylinder lever hole
then the rod's bent end goes into the cylinder lever hole and the
plactic piece clips onto the rod. This holds it onto the door
lock/unlock cylinder lever. The terms I used may not be correct but I
hope this helps.
