Here's how it goes, I just consulted my Audi brochure library, and the '88 was
the same as all the other 5000s except the lettering on the trunk.  This was
basically a transition year.  Other than that, it was the same car.  1989 is
when the it got the new dash, 2 knock sensors, flush door handles, new wheels,
and a lot of other little changes.

I went over to Dave Head's yesterday to check out the 200 he just bought from
Osman. Osman's car looks great with the A4 5 spoke rims on it that Dave pulled
off his old 5KCSTQ.  He thinks he is so cool now that he has 2 Audis. I am
going to have to buy another Audi so that I will have 3, and keep ahead of
Dave.
