V8 Euros In/Oil Pressure Gauge is dancing-why?

Well the Euro-lights are in 93 V8! Bagged the European connectors as they
were too tough to track down. Cut the OE connectors and wired everything
up with spade connectors and shrinking rubber wrap. Actually looks pretty
clean. Total labor was six hours to take out the old, put in the new and
do the wiring. Their are five screws holding in each trim panel below each
light! You can only get to everything on the driver's side by removing the
oil cooler. Overkill!

The results-certainly cleaner light with a somewhat better beam pattern
than stock(H3 100's on the high's as well) but not the difference of stock
to Euro on the 200 lights, love the look of the city lights but it's a
certainly a PITA to put it all in. No structural changes needed to go from
the OE US two piece unit to the Euro one piece unit.

Next thought. I have noticed that at idle, my oil pressure gauge is doing
quite the frantic dance. Give the car a bit of gas and the needle
immediately pins the right. Anyone have any thought on what is going on?
