Disrupter beam - microwave radiation

In Toronto Canada we have the CN Tower - in its vicinity power door locks,
garage door openers and other remote control devices either don't work or
behave erratically - the tow truck operators make a killing unlocking doors
for the unsuspecting who think they can leave the key in (to keep it warm)
for short stops and use the remote to get back in.
