Having fun in the Twin Cities

Coming back into the Twin Cities last night, had a little bit of fun.

One of the first traffic lights I pulled up to after getting off the
freeway, some dork in a Dorf Probe pulled up beside me in the right turn
lane and thought he was going to go straight and get by me. The light
turned green, and all he saw was tail lights from my '93 90S fwd
(12vV6).

I get a laugh out of people who see a 4 door sedan driven by an older
guy and think it's easy pickin's, only to be smoked like a cheap cigar.

There was a car on my left too, and a brief glance made me think it was
a BMW. A few lights later he pulls up beside me and it's a green A4
1.8TQ. Light turns green and he's on it, I'm game even though he has the
lead off the light. Punch it down, first gear, pull even. Hit second
gear and I just blew him away. Now he was alone and I had a trunk full
of luggage and a passenger. Not to shabby. He was a good sport about it,
gave me a thumbs up two lights later.

Oh, and if anyone out there wishes to chastize me for stoplight racing,
SAVE IT. I really don't care to hear it. Everyone is allowed to have a
little fun occasionally. :-)
