prices on '91 200Q
As some Minneapolis Q-listers know, I had a 200Q checked out there
about four weeks ago. The car had 85,000 miles, and was listed for
$10,500. I decided not to make him any offer after it got checked
out, because he told me he would not budge below $9,500, and
a whole lot of additional problems appeared that he “neglected”
to tell me about earlier, including shot UFO rotors, a front wheel
bearing, bad front shocks, and a small rear end collision that had
been crudely fixed ( no frame damage at all). Oh yes, the timing belt
was WAY beyond its useful life, full of cracks... well, he did say he
had never changed the belt....
I suspect $10,000 to 12,000 may be more the range for a private owner.
