Hmm...  call it $20 per valve (low guestimate) x 40 valves...  Mental note,
make sure to change timing belt early and often...

I'll add a pint or two of petrol too...

The latest Audi ad reads:

"The Audi 40 valve V8 engine. It's finally out.
The engine design of the new Audi A6 4.2 quattro incorporates pioneering
5-valve technology across 8 cylinders, making a total of 40 valves capable
of delivering an effortless 300bhp.
(A long sentence, but it is importtant to set a precedent.)"
