86 5ktqw Head gasket going?

Hi guys,

While pursuing a rough engine at start up problem, I pulled the spark plugs
off, only to find a puddle on top of the #1 piston of, not gas, not oil,
but what looks very much like anti-freeze. Something tells me my head
gasket is going. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
This would also account for the rough starting problem. I don't think the
front cylinder would fire until all that stuff is blown out.

Now for the questions. How big a job for the home mechanic is a re and re
of the head on the 5ktqw. Any special tools needed. I see the
intake/exhaust manifold and turbo being a big pain to pull apart. Any
BTDT's would be appreciated. I'm trying to decide whether I should tackle
it myself or just go to my friendly but expensive dealer.

The car is my daily driver, it has 240k kms on it and the engine has never
been touched.

TIA
