there is an excellent wheel bearing puller kit made by schley products in
anaheim hills, california.
i have used this to do all my audi and vw wheel bearings during the last 2
yrs.
the part number for the generic puller kit is 89500.
in addition you need an adaptor kit for the 82mm bearings.
this is part number 87350.
i purchased mine from techtonics tuning in sheridan, oregon. (503)843-2700
i believe the price for both of the kits was around $250.
this is an industrial strength tool.
(jump on a three foot breaker bar-type strength)
make sure to grease the threads before pulling and use antisieze on the
bearing/housing before installing.
