I do not believe the idea about " you are liable if it is your car". My
little brother lent his truck out to a friend one night and needless to say
the little coward totaled it. Probably drunk at the time. He tried to pawn of
that it was stolen late at night and tried to leave my brother on the line for
this. Needless to saythe cops took info and after a little time the deduced
it was the friend who wrecked it and trashe someones yard at the same time.
Not once did we hear that it was up to my brothers insurance to pay for it, or
at least not after the cops said the other little sh-- was the driver.
Shortly there after a check was recieved and like a dumb--- my brother buddied
up to this little snot.
