I've never meant ordinary duct tape. The stuff I use is self-amalgamating
tape, originally used by electricians to create water-proof seals around
wire connections etc. When subjected to heat it melts and sticks to rubber
(to some degree). Just wrap the craked IC/TB hose with this tape and use a
hairdryer to heat it slightly. Also works well in sealing small holes in
coolant hoses. Of course, my MC engine only gets 1.3 bar ;-)
