Yes, it works very well. I have been doing this for the last ten years and
absolutely love it. I can't believe I ever drove any other way. As objects
fade out of the rear view they appear in the side mirrors.

I got this link sent to me today. I'm thinking about trying it but
figured that the collective wisdom of the Quattrolist beats the SAE any
day. Anyone set their mirrors like this? Checking blindspots in NYC
traffic can be a heartstopping experience.
