5kcstq hesitation

Hey all,

Well, I need some advice about my recently purchased 5kcstq.
It starts OK, idles very well, does not stall, but when accelerating
has a slight hesitation in mid range. It feel like engine
does not want to rev, and it is worse when engine is cold.Once it
warms up the hesitation is almost gone, but the car still feels nowhere
near as "a-la F-16 on forsage" fast as my previous 5kcst 5-spd was
(with the same QLCC chip). And that's with the healthy boost easily
reaching 11-12 psi on the mechanical boost gauge. FWIW, the car has
all new filters, new injectors, check valve, good fuel pump, less then
1 year
old spark plug wires and 3-electrode NGK spark plugs.Frequency valve
duty cycle is set to 50%. I am getting 4444 when I try to pull the
codes.
Is it possible that the converter is clogged (the car had a ripped
breather hose and was running rich when I bought it)? Any other thoghts?

TIA, as always.
