In case it hasn't already been stated, the movie mentioned that
had one of the first high-speed car chase scenes in the late
'60's was "Bullit". And the Audi in Ronin was an S8, the big
American who drove it asked for it specifically (and also asked
for some custom modifications). The way he pronounced "Audi"
kinda bugs me, though, and a private dealer who sold me my 5kq
says it like that: kinda rhymes with "naughty". I pronounce it
so it rhymes with "pouty", which is what I hear on the Audi TV
commercials. I think the Brits say it the former way, but then
they butcher "Puegot" and "Nissan" from what I hear on the BTCC
coverage on Speedvision.
