The first part is Blizzaks are not designed for dry asphalt performance,
so you are probably overworking the tire. The second part is understanding
how the Blizzaks function. I don't have Blizzaks, but have driven them on
occasion. But I did learn about them at the steamboat winter driving school
this year, btw the school is sponsored by bridgestone. When we went out
for dinner and beers, a former instructor from the school came along. He
talked about how the Blizzaks have a very soft sidewall and how you need
to take this into account when cornering on ice/snow. He said that under
cornering there are 2 stages, you 'set' the tire and then 'set' the
suspension.
I guess that this takes people by surprise, or maybe they are not used to
it being so pronounced. HTH.
