CGT suspension upgrades -
Howdy - always thinking of the future. In my last Coupe GT, we installed Boge
shocks and cut the stock springs to lower the ride height. A bit crude, but
it worked and the car handled excellently. In the 4000Q, I've got Eibachs.
Great handling springs, but not low enough. Jamex makes a suspension for GT's
I know - 60mm drop (about 2.25 inches). I have the 40mm drop suspension in my
Rabbit GTi - it's okay, but a lot more bounce than the Eibachs. How are
H&R's? Anyone have a moderate suspension (read - no bilstein sports with
coil-over conversions...) suggestion? My first approach would be Boge shocks
and H&R's for affordability - if I have the money, I'll opt for the Koni
yellows (but I'm doing a coilover conversion on the Quat this summer, so low
budget) Enough talk - opinions?
Thanks -
