AUDI 100

In response to HBaLLz3SiX's message,

The Audi 100 is a pretty cool car...It just is inferior in performance to the
other Audis such as the 200 which is similar but has more juice. As far as
upgrades go, they will make your car look different and unique (or make it
look just like shi*) depending on what you do to it and who does it. Remember
that the money you put in hardly ever "up's" the value of the car. I feel
that tint is a safe option, but forget about the winshield...I think it looks
cheesy. As far as rims go, they are also a good option, but keep the stock
ones for winter and when you sell the car. You may want to just stick with
the 15's and get a lower profile tire...forget about lowering the car. As far
as stereo upgrades go, go for it. I have a 91' 100 and the speakers in the
dash are a 4M, which is different than the American 4". You can get a pair of
4" speakers and have them custom fit. A place by me custom fit a 4" kicker
resolution midbass and a 1" kicker resolution tweeter in my front under the
factory grill giving it a stealth look. For the rears you can use 6 1/2" but
make sure they fit...some speakers mount differently. Also leave the factory
tweeters and hook them to the reciever, not an amplifier. As far as subs go,
3 10's will provide plenty of bass if in the right enclosure and supplied with
adequate, clean power. Good luck with the upgrades and the new car.

P.S. Remember that the 100 is a luxury car, not a sports rally car such as a
Honda CRX or VW Corrado...don't bother lowering it and doing stuff of that
sort.
