Yo Phil... You put MORE posts than ANYONE on this list, which means, your
"potential" WOB is THE highest, it's a statistical thing. Have you wasted 40KB
of bandwidth here? I argue quite possibly more, given your tenure on this
list. I'm not sure this post is all that appropriate, certainly on this side
of the pond, and "dork" seems pretty strong verbiage given the infraction. I
could give several examples and listings of several part numbers that, IMO,
should be sent privately, this list is plenty active without them.
Regardless, a more reasoned and learned approach to your issue might be to a)
find out if your charges are a server problem or a download one b) maybe have
Dan Simoes put a notation in the subscription/posting guidelines that might
address your specific problem of paying by the byte.

Whacking a lister with the "dork" label, for somthing he obviously wasn't
aware of seems rather strong. Given Bob asked (and you quoted verbatum) that
you send "all flames privately please", you obviously had some other plan.
Some thought and forethought would be greatly appreciated before you launch
the flamethrower.

And I totally understand your frustration, please understand that to some of
us it crosses the pond your way too.
