    Buy an Optima battery!  It is hands down the best battery put there
and worth the extra $$$.  Has a 10 year warranty too and seems to work
best with cars that sit for extended periods of time.

    My dad has a Porsche 944 turbo and the OE Varta battery in it is
ALWAYS going dead, as my dad gets to drive it less and less. especially
during the winter months.  Of course, before I bought my latest
Quattro, I used to offer to drive it all the time....you know...to keep
the fluids going and charge up the battery.  ;^)

    But, to be completely honest, I prefer driving my '89 200TQ to the
944 turbo...any day!  Granted the 944 is a lot faster, especially since
it's chipped, but I still like the feel and the visibility in the
Quattro much better.  And, I can drive it year round!  The best benefit
of all!  ;^)
