Hit about 140 in my dad's 944turbo S.  Had another gear to go.  Car is an
absolute rocket, and set up to drive that fast.  After doing it (on about a
1.5 mile stretch) I came to a quick realization - that while the car and
perhaps me were ready to go that fast, other people weren't.  I don't think
going fast is necessarily a bad thing, but you have to be willing to accept
MAJOR consequences at speed approaching 3 times national limits.  You are
endangering other's lives, as well.  God damn thrill ride, though!!!!
