1987 5000CS TQ for sale $2500 & introduction
I just realized that I was being very rude in my first post to the list. It
was me trying to unload my car without introducing my self. I am an
electrical engineering graduate of Clarkson University 1992.I currently
work as an applications engineer for an instrumentation and controls
company known in up state New York as BurnsCascade.
I have more hobbies than I have time, working on German cars is #1. I
purchased a house with a over sized hated 3-car garrage. one of the bays
has an oil change pit just like the ones at those instant oil change
places. The garrage Sq footage equals the house, I thought this to be a fair
compromise with my fiance. My car history is as follows
1) 1981 VW Jetta 120,000 - 198,000 miles
2) 1985 Audi 5000CS Turbo. Thak you 60 Minutes for this one. A doctor
friend of my fathers was so terrified by the segment on unintended
acceleration that he unloaded the car for $5,000 in 1989. 53,000 - 120,000.
3) 1988 Pontiac V8 formula Fire Bird.............Temporary Insanity. There
is a hill on us Route 20 in up state NY which is about 1.5 miles long and
has an elevation change of about 1200 feet. I could get the 5000CS turbo up
to 115 mph from a dead stop at the bottom, The Screaming chicken (my pet
name for the hood emblum) could only muster about 95 mph. 48,000 - 98,000
4) 1987 5000S At least I was out of the bird unknown miles
4.1) 1988 5000CS turbo. purchased in florida and sold to a friend. never
got on road
5) 1987 5000CS TQ 120,000 to Today 168,000 and for sale
6) 1996 A6 but not a Q-Ship 48,000- ?????
6.1) 1987 BMW 325 123,000 - ?????
Ok now that I have introduced my self I do not feel like I am abusing the
list. I look forward to contributing to and learning from the list. With
that said this is the last call before MY CAR GOES INTO THE LOCAL PAPER
TOMORROW. If any one who has contacted me is serious pleae let me know
ASAP. I WILL HOLD THE CAR FOR A LISTER. I sincerely want the car to go to a
good home.Please reply ASAP.
