RE: 4000 Quattro and other stuff..
Hope this helps
#2&3 - I think you said you wanted BOge TG with H&R springs and 16"
wheels. DOnt. With the higher spring rates and extra weight of 16"
wheels most people I have talked to think the TG is over worked with this
combo. A lighter 15" or stock wheels fine. A REALLY light 16" may work
too but then you have a strenght issue. If you want that combo I would go
with Koni or Bilstien.
#4 - Diff Lock. FOr now, untill you have time to find the problem,
back car up onto curb or jack up and support, then crawl under and on
passenger side of REar DIff is the actuator lever that locks it. Its
stuck in one position to move it the other way with car started and switch
in un-locked position and it will unlock. THen leave it un-locked untill
warmer weather when you can troubleshoot.
Also, sometimes they get stiff from lack of use so a SMALL vacuum
leak will make it to hard for it to move it where as mine lock instantly
(almost) because I use them a lot and they are loosened up a bit. Once I
told a guy what they were for and that he could drive with center locked
on snow for better traction but it wouldn't stay locked. I told him to
leave it and finally after about 15 minutes of popping in and out it
stayed locked. We unlocked, locked, and did that a few times and it seems
to work fine now. Just hadn't been used in years and it was stiff. Once
you move it manually a few times (if there is no leak) it may loosen up.
Good luck
