Squeaking/Scraping noise from 90 20VQ

Hi guys have a bit of a problem and wondering if someone can help.  I've
got a 1991 90 Series Quattro (20V) with about 100,000 miles on it. 

Seems recently when turning sharply during slow parking lot jousting or
going over whoop-de-whoops on the road I hear a squeaking/grinding type
noise from the car.  I think it's in the suspension somewhere but don't
know where to look.

I have noticed that if I push down on the rear of the car when its
stationary it produces a similar (but less loud) noise.  I can't spot any
leaking from the shocks and there's nothing really visible in terms of damage.

Any clues?
