Igor, I wouln't lose too much sleep over this car. Have you taken a look at
the picture on the Web site? There is something strange about that car but
I just can't put my finger on it...:) BTW, the taxes in Ontario would be
15% not 17% as someone suggested but that would not be an issue for an out
of province and in the case of an American, out of country buyer. You might
have to pay the GST (Goods and Services Tax) which is 7% but you can apply
for a rebate and get it all back since the car would not be registered in
Canada.

You would have to change the speedo from metric to Imperial. Other than
that, I doubt there would be much to do to federalize that car but of
course, you should check before you leap. According to one of my brothers
who is in the used car business in New Brunswick, in Maine, I guess a
number of Canadian cars were sold with odometers in "Canadian miles" (that
is what they call kilometers there) and it did not seem to have much of an
impact on resale values.
