We are exchanging to bigger splash shields and new Ferodo pads.  Replacement
of the pads is only if the customer has complained of brake performance
suffering in around zero temps, splash shields get changed to all cars
during routine service, as well as all new cars in invetory.  Changes will
take place in production around week 13.

The march issue of the German "ADAC Motorwelt" has a note for all A4
and Passat drivers suffering from brake problems due to heavy salt
usage on the German winter roads. Both Audi and VW will exchange the
exsisting brake pads with a new type for free in the following weeks.
