RE: 4000 Quattro and other stuff..
I use the Firestone SH30 H-rated all-season on my 5000tq. It works well in
all conditions - very good dry traction, excellent in wet, more than
adequate in occasional snow. A little bit noisy, but nothing like the D60's,
also not available in a 205/50-15.

So, what would you recommend then?
D60's are stiff and loud and mediocre. 509's are well, I guess I
need more info before I buy. Any suggestions for a good All Season to
put on my Moms Subaru 14" rim. 195/65 or close to that. I think 185/70
is what is has now. I'd like to go wider and better. All weather
performance is a must. Snow performance doesn't need to be great as we
put snows on in the winter but its nice to be able to at least drive it in
the winter.
Anyhow, I'm open to suggestions.
