Rolling fender lips.

Alot of people in the VW crowd like to lower their cars and go with
maximum wheels and tires. In order to accomodate the switch without
cutting tires, they also roll the lips of their fenders. Believe it or
not, the accepted way to do this was come to be an aluminum baseball bat.
Simply put the car in neutral and release the emergency brake (on a level
surface, of course, preferably with a helper or two). Put the bat between
the tire and the fender, holding the bat so that it points up into the
wheel well and contacts both the tire and the inside of the fender lip,
and roll the car back and forth. Wallah, rolled lips with no paint damage
and no fear of punching through the fender.
