A6Q Avant Springs

Any suggestions for lowering springs for a '95 model? Neither Eibach nor H&R
have sets that they bring to the States (and will stand by as to fit), though
they both seem to have them available in their European catalogs. To their
credit, the H&R folks at least will entertain the idea of special orders,
whereas Eibach won't even acknowledge (at least to me) that they sell a set in
Europe that will fit the car (ie, avant, V6, quattro, air cond -- the weight
issues). I am not even sure, BTW, that Eibach tells dealers that the A6Q set
they sell in the US is sedan only -- since I have found more than one willing
to sell me the 1528.140 kit. Anyway, I have a UK source for the Eibachs and
so was wondering if any listers have had good or bad experiences with either
maker for the sedans or, better yet, the avants. The H&Rs have a 5-10mm
additional drop versus the Eibachs and I have heard that H&Rs can be a bit
stiff in certain applications. Since the car will continue to be a family
hauler, I'd rather avoid loosened fillings.

thanks in advance.
