FYI&FWIW,
My wife works for the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office in
the photo lab. They get a _lot_ of accident photos there. She has
commented recently on a rash of  SUV rollovers where the roof is
seriously caved in. Another concern is with small/cheaply constructed
cars. They do very poorly in serious accidents. (I was going to write
cheap cars, but my 5kcstq was only $2500 when I got it and I know it's
safer than a lot of other cars out there.) Several listers have posted
rollover photo's (I know, it hurts to think about it) of their type 44's
in which I could see no roofline deformation.
