Front end clunk

Just replaced the ball joints on my 85 CGT. Clunk still there.
Situation;
new ball joints (torqued)
new A-arm bushings (torqued at load position)
pads and rotors good shape and tight
struts replaced 2/97
strut bearings replaced 3/98 (top nuts tight)
sway bar bushings tight and OK

Noise seems to be coming from the area of the right strut bearing. They were
purchased from GPR for $13.00 each. I was not impressed with the mounting
method (or lack thereof) when I replaced them last year. Previous strut jobs
I've done  on other makes were _bolted_ on, not just stuck into a hole. They
should last more than a year I would think. Are there any higher quality units
available?  Any further ideas or options?  TIA
