I've got the replacement vac. adv. unit on order from the Parts
Connection now (at $13, a cheap "performance" "upgrade");
but I just realized I forgot about the (cut/melted/very old)
vacuum hose. Is that a generic local-parts-store item,
or something special? What about the cloth-covered ends (which
appear to have flexible rubber underneath, as opposed to the
rather stiff main hose)?
