vw getting adventurous

anyone noticed that vw has been pretty active recently with the new
acquisitions?

like a(nother) bugatti, still a w18, but now called eb218, and looking a lot
more like a bug in my book.

and a bently sports car (!), called the hunaudieres, produced as a study by
bentle.  complete with a 8litre, 16 cylinder, 623hp, 561 lb ft motor!  this
motor is basically 2 vr8 motors in a "v", so you can't really call it a v16,
or a w16, more like a vw16 (little joke). permanent four-wheel drive with
vc. 20 inch wheels with 265/30 at the front and 335/30 at the rear. the
shape has a little of bugatti eb110, jag xjs, and  other.  overall i would
imho, consider the result well, unfortunate.  like chrome bumpers???

but nice to see that piech has keep the purse strings loose.
