Re: aluminium cleaning



For aluminum I usually first wash with a grease remover, an organic solvent
such as acetone works well and really makes it shine.  Of course do not get
the solvent on any rubber or  painted parts.  A drop won't ruin them but in
general it is a bad thing to have organic solvents and paint or rubber near
one another. If you want even more shine to come through use an aluminum or
metal polish, I use a brand called Mother's.  It has always worked for me.
