Living in Iowa, US, where farm cats and agriculture are abound, one gets
accustomed to honking the horn once or twice before starting the
car/truck when parked at a farmhouse.

Cat's, much like rodents, like to snuggle up in the engine bay on a lazy
afternoon.  You've never heard a cat scream until you hear one wound
'round with a serpentine belt.
