ABS sen-sore(subject)

I have been under the car so many times trying to get the abs sensors
just right, and I am still having problems.  I got the spacers, and they
seemed to work worse, a lot worse.  I took them out, pushed the sensors
all the way in then backed them out a bit, and it worked better, but not
perfect.  So now the spacers are back in, but the abs still kicks in
when slowing to a stop.  Do i have to put the car on a lift to get them
dialed in perfectly?

PS I was bumped off the digest a week or so ago.
